Spring 2020 Update

BY DOUG WHITTY, President 13th Street Winery

“2020 represents an exciting year in the history of 13th Street Winery. It has now been 10 years since we moved the winery from its original site on 13th Street in the Town of Lincoln to its current location on Fourth Avenue in St. Catharines. It has been a period of significant growth and transition. A very interesting ride to be suDoug Whitty 13th Street Wineryre! We invested in major renovations and expansions with respect to the winery, bakery, farmstore, gallery and vineyards. We are very thankful for many talented people have come alongside us, joined our team and worked very hard to advance our unique vision for our place within in the Ontario wine industry.

Exciting new developments this year are the soon to be released expressions of Pinot Gris from the original Whitty family homestead (established 1908) and curated, provocative exhibitions in our recently opened contemporary art gallery featuring notable Canadian artists.

Our focus for the next ten years is to continue our passionate pursuit of excellence in everything we do. In our daily interactions with all people in every aspect of the business, our team strives to serve well and enter into enjoyable relationships so that supporters of 13th Street Winery are not just recognized as valued customers but are transformed into sincere advocates.”
