Our Story

Where wine, food and art come together.

Rooted in the heart of Niagara and inspired by a shared passion for community and creativity, 13th Street Winery has been crafting award-winning wines since 1998. What began as a project between four friends has grown into a vibrant destination, thanks to the vision and stewardship of the Mann and Whitty families.

In 2009, they brought 13th Street to its current home on Fourth Avenue in St. Catharines—a place where exceptional wine meets warm hospitality, local flavours, and a love of contemporary Canadian art.

Here, we invite you to slow down and take a moment to explore. Sip a flight of our expressive, terroir-driven wines at the tasting bar or on our sun-soaked verandah. Stroll the property to discover our sculpture garden and onsite gallery. Visit the Bakery for the sweet aroma of fresh-baked tarts and seasonal preserves, made with ingredients sourced from Niagara farms—some of them just down the road. Our outdoor, seasonal Vineyard Kitchen Bistro menu features locally inspired seasonal plates that change throughout the season to reflect Niagara’s bounty. From mid-May to mid-October, enjoy live music on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays⁺ with a spectacular view of our vineyards and sculpture gardens.

At 13th Street Winery, we do more than make wine. We create space for connection, discovery, and celebration—shaped by the land and shared with everyone who walks through our doors.
