Tasting Notes
Dark purple in the glass with an intense nose of wild blueberry, gamey, forest floor, smoky charred oak. On the palate it is rich, ripe and full-bodied with wild blueberry compote, candied blackberry, rip plum, black cherry concentrate with vanilla, charred oak and bitter chocolate. The finish is long with grippy tannins and lingering acidity.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Sourced exclusively from our June’s Vineyard in the Lake Shores Farm, harvested in early November after a warm summer and dry fall. The grapes were in pristine condition. Stainless steel fermenters where the primary fermentation took place over 3 weeks with pump-overs for colour and flavour extraction. After pressing, malolactic fermentation was completed in the tank. Transferred to French oak barrels for 20 months. Bottling in February 2024.
